2006 Chevy Equinox LS xm radio / xm/aux ready. How to set up?

I keep getting this runaround about me having to install XM to my car... from what I have read, my car is already "set up?" for XM radio, and I even have a button that says XM/Aux on the dash. When I press this button I believe it says no device, and when I call Xm, they say go to dealer. Anybody have a 2006 Chevy Equinox LS and know about XM setup or just know anything about it?? YOUR HELP IS MUCH NEEDED, THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

The XM is probably built into the radio, and an external antenna is connected to the radio for satellite reception. Your radio might already be "set up" for XM but the deal might have to "activate" it. I would just go talk to the dealership as they will know what to do and tell you what you need
