    Laptop Screen

I just remembered I have an old P.O.S. Dell laptop I bought my wife some time ago. That thing was a turd from day 1. No help from Dell customer supprot either. Now it's dead in the corner. How about I tear it apart and use the monitor in the car? Is that possible and how?

I read the FAQ on laptop. I'll scrap the entire laptop except the hard drive. Does anyone know of a place that will take it for parts?

Depends on what it is. I'd take it off your hands.

    Thumbs down

It's their Smart Step 2200n they made for a limited time. I thought abour refurbishing it but, replacement parts are hard to find. The keyboard dies, power supply receptical broke, a USB port broke, it always had issues when installing software, it always got as hot as an oven......There was always a problem to deal with. To top it off, Dell's customer support is among the worst in the world, especially if you did not buy their extended warranty. No more Dell products in my house!!
