    Desktop PC on car.

Hello guys,I am new here, and prety new to the hoby as well. I am thinking of using a desktop pc on my car. here is the deal:
    I have an audi 80 B4, with a pioneer deh5100ub and 4 normal speakers...
At the momment, i am using my Asus eepc 1008ha for having better software with music (itunes+genius) but cause of its bad quality of music i have connected it through aux cable.
    * does this efect the sound quallity? i mean is it better/worst than playing music through usb just from the radio-cd?

But, i like the software of pc;s allot. On my dekstop pc i am using the windows speech recognition (full voice control over the pc(i mean FULL)) combined with verbot 5. an artifiacial intelligence software wich uses microsoft agents to create a robot (some prety nice girls witch u choose) that u can comunicate with, and more important u can give commands.
But the prob is that thouse 2 need a prety good pc, not a poor netbook.
so i am thinking of upgrading my netbook to a netbook pc.
So here is where i need some advice.
3 things are for sure. i need a good mic(150+ euro for good noise canceling) a good sound card (200+ since i will be using it for the music in car, not the radio-cd)
and a good at least 2duo proccecor.
Also, i am planing on putting sub woofers. do i need to buy amplifier or the Desktop pc does the job?:>
As you can see i am prety comfused so any advice/opinion/ideas are welcome!!

you will pretty much need to replace your entire computer-- the core2 will take more juice, so you'll need a better power supply, though you might be able to re-use the hdd.

otherwise, most of it has been done, so just search around (i run a pentium dual core in my car, so it is possible )

Saying "A core 2 duo draws too much power" is like saying "white bread is unhealthy".
There are lots of variations of the C2D CPU that have different power draws.

It is wise to check the specific C2D model you have to determine power draw. It may be possible to get a different CPU that will drop into your motherboard, but draw far less power.

When I say "power", I'm not talking about the audio output level. I'm talking about how much power the PC consumes.

And yes, it's pretty damn important.
