Power issue with Lilliput monitor and voompc
Long time lurker and first time poster. Thanks to this site I installed my first car pc.
Anyway I have run into a problem that I just cant wrap my head around.
Here it goes.
I have a voom pc with a m2 atx psu. It comes with a 12v output to supply regulated power to the monitor.
So i have a 12 guage wire with an inline 15a fuse from the battery to the red wire of the psu.
I have a toggle switch going from the cigarette lighter fuse to the white wire of the psu
and the ground was bolted to the passenger seat housing.
So with this setup i was successful in getting the computer to start up and shutdown with the car starting up and shutting off.
The problem is the monitor isnt powering up with the supplied setup.
Now When i did the initial install i have everything hooked up to a wall outlet and everything was fine including the monitor with the supplied cables.
I followed the guides online to chose the right guage wire.
So I am not sure what could be wrong. Anyone have any idea?
Im guessing its not carrying enough power to supply the monitor so what can i do to supply the needed power.
Thanks for reading. I know it was long but i find that specifics help alot when asking for help.
