Bought parts, but where/how do I mount the DC/DC PSU?
Just got all the parts in, and started putting things together. I have built numerous home PCs, but space is not really an issue there. This stuff is tiny! So it seems that the power supply does not fit in the case, and neither does a 3.5" HDD (missed the specs on that one :( )
So here's what I have:
M350 Universal Mini-ITX enclosure by Mini-Box
M2-ATX 160W Intelligent DC-DC PSU
Intel D510MO Intel Desktop Board With integrated Intel® Atom™ processor D510
1 x 2GB SDRAM
So the motherboard mounts in the case, no problem. But I cannot see an obvious way to mount the power supply in the case, so probably it has to be in some separate little box which I'll have to fabricate/procure. And then the ATX harness will have to somehow have to route into the case, and it's not all that long. And then the hard drive will not fit either... so I'll have to mount it separately. This must be a common issue, so I'm wondering how others approach this?
