66 Mustang - High Pitch Noise / Feedback

    Alright Here I go:

1st, I'm new to car systems, but not to computers. so not to sure about this.

    2nd, heres my specs:
    ~Intel D510MO
    ~2gb DDR2
    ~250gb 2.5" Sata
    ~USB Touch Screen 7"
~USA 66 Radio with std aux in MP3 Jack
    ~Windows 7

3rd, When Im accelerating, I get this horrid wine from my speakers that seams to change with my transmission, I shift, it shifts. I'm Using line out (standard jack) through a 20' Extension cable and into my radio. Any Ideas as what I can do to stop it. (Like I said I'm new to sound).

Please dont tell me to search, I had a hard time finding anything.

    Thanks!

You didn't find this: Induced noise/Ground loop trouble shooting guide.

    You have a ground loop.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

    Doesn't bother me at all.
It's something I've been harping on the management about for some time.

And you're quite welcome. I hope you get your situation resolved.

well, Ive narrowed it down to 2 parts,

The Speakers or the Radio..... I put headphones in on going down the road, and no noise from the PC end. now i got to find someway to check the speakers... *goes digging for a speaker*

OH and Glad im not the only one a little confused about the layout of the site.

The system is grounded to the striker bar for the trunk, IDK if thats enough grounding or not... right now im in a kinda blank it mood. So im taking a break.

Interesting discovery though, turning treble up turns the whine down,

I will post pics once I get her finished. Glad to hear im not the only crazy SOB to put one in the mustang. Im tying the ground into the trunk floor now, and trying the original speakers again. The test speaker still squeeled.
