Just as a point of conversation, all of the reviews I have been able to find of radar jammers under $1000 suggested that placing the cardboard box they came in on your dash is just as effective as the actual device. NONE of the tested units contained any circuitry capable of jamming police radar or anything else for that matter. They are a scam and a fraud. They are also (in most states) illegal to operate. Rocky Mountain Radar (is that the name?) is the brand most often selling these fakes.

If anyone can post a link to a review (from an independent reviewer) of such a device, costing less than $1000, that is able to alter or scramble the radar return of any K or KA-band device, that would be pretty cool.

Radar jammers are illegal and using one will land you in some major (federal) trouble. Now laser jammers and radar detectors are an entirely different beast and I am actually build my entire system around those tools.

Are we not talking about Radar Scanners and jammers being intergrated into a carpc?

Unless he is talking about "Jammers" specifically hes probably sol, other than that i think it has a lot to do with the topic at hand.
I would even say it answers Vegasguy's question about being able to find a review from the listed radar discussion group.

What on earth is a "radar scanner"? The link you posted may be of use if he is looking for radar detector integration but that is far different from radar jamming.

Regardless, radar jamming is a federal offense and will have the Feds knocking at your door. Laser jamming is perfectly legal though.

Yes, I've actually built a pretty elaborate system which integrates a radar detector, laser jammer system, car PC, gps, and a few other goodies. It's pretty elaborate but overkill for most. I will post some details on it in the coming month.

There is indeed a plugin allowing you to have V1 alerts on your CarPC. I'm actually currently working on getting these alerts to show up on my navigation screen and through my EVIC (canbus system) screen.
