    Greetings

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2007 Hyundai Sonata and at first all I wanted was an AUX port. But after stumbling across these forums I now want a full blown Carputer setup that's voice controlled and everything.

I'm good with computers and I build my own all the the time, so that shouldn't be much of an issue. But I know nothing about fabrication, cars electrical systems or audio, So I have a lot of reading to do! 8)

I'm thinking it would be nice to go with one of the new AMD APUs and if I can get it to look like this http://www.mp3car.com/show-off-your-...ai-sonata.html then even better!

And sorry if this is in the wrong spot

Welcome to MP3car. I disagree with you, you do know something about it. You know you need to learn as you go by reading; your 50% of the way there already!!

Start with the FAQ's section as a primer and your off. Good luck with the project and don't forget to start a worklog when you start building.

I started off here in your same shoes, but I had a little car audio experience. Honestly, it isn't that bad, and I've built 3 systems in the past 3 years. Hopefully I should be starting on number 4 very soon Welcome aboard!
