300w Amp and Touch screen interference.

    Hi,

All is going great in my carpc build, ive encountered a problem and all my googling comes up with nothing, When powering my LCD touchscreen and 300w Amp from the same power there is a terrible interference, i have found that this only happens when the power for the screen is plugged into the car, if i plug it to a extension cable to my house the amp and screen work perfectly next to each other,

My question is this, is there a way to stop the interference that happens when i power the screen and amp on at the same time? is it just a case of diodes to stop the current washing or is there a better way?

    thanks,

    Sam.

Better grounding is my first thought.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
