Well, I do have a 1999 Grand Marquis. I guess the trunk space qualifies as a monster.

The case I custom made for my PC is 2" tall and still doesn't fit under the crossbar below my passenger seat. You'd think a wagon would have more room to put things like a carputer chassis, but that is not the case.

I have zero space under my seats. There's too much electronics stuffed under there for even my USB hub to fit. I totally agree with your sentiments, sebberry.

try to fit everyhing in a smart car, but luckly a mini-itx fit in the dd radio hole nicely. and zip ties are your buddy, as long as nobody looks under your dash.

The problem with most carputer components is that they don't really seem to be designed for use in a car. functionally they work great, but it seems as if the designers never took a moment to think about how the product can be installed in a tight space. Zip ties might be your friend, but if you have to install stuff all over the car just to get them to fit, all the excess cabling and connections are just begging for problems.

I've never seen a monster truck with a trunk. And with monster trucks there really isn't actually much space to put stuff either. All the space gets taken up by a lot of safety equipment

It's hard to get anyone to take me seriously when I say size does really matter.

That's pretty typical in most cases.
