Your fine with a Quad Core.... Infact you could even do a Tri Core and it would still be plenty fast. Not sure if they make a Tri Core with the new APU chipsets. You want to know the best thing to do? Someone correct me if im wrong, but buy a 250 watt desktop PSU. They are relatively cheap, then get your system together and try it on that PSU. If the system runs then you know its ok to use the M4-ATX, which is also 250 watts. Basically try to match a desktop PSU to the stats of the M4-ATX. When I built my Phenom II system, I tried it with a 350 watt PSU and it didnt work correctly. When I replaced the PSU with a 550 watt version, the system ran flawlessly.
