    how rigid is that single piece. I've done several dashes like that, and most of them were pretty flimsy and would always warp with the added weight of a monitor being attached. Can you twist that one piece when uninstalled fairly easily? I think it can be done, but its going to take a support design if the answer is yes.

    Yes, you can twist it. But, since I've successfully mounted a 669 in a bybyte frame, I know that it can be done. Check out my worklog for how I did it.

    This is my third time trying to reply.....

    Kegobeer, totally didnt notice at first you were talking to me on both forums. And sorry I havent been on here much, its been a very busy weekend.
    So I have ordered a replacement dash to tinker with.
    Also, for confirmation, you used a double din adapter for the dash and the bybyte frame, correct?

    Yep, I used an adapter. I bought the Metra 95-5817 from amazon for $12.
