    Newbie ... Where to start

Hi, i have a Mazda 323F (1991 model) here in the UK.

I've looked round your forums and have seen some good posts, what i'm looking for is a cheap, touch screen LCD for my car, I have a small computer which will work, i know i need an inverter, any recomendations?

I'm wanting to do this as cheap as possible, the only thing i have to buy is the LCD, Inverter and what ever connects my machine to the cars speakers?

I think i have enough room for a LCD, but a fold away one would be even better, (security reasons).

A cheap, preferablly UK company recomendations would be cool, i can fit everything myself, ithink, with you guys help.

    Thanks

    Andy

thats a cool site, anyone anymore.

the cheapest worked out about 380, which i suppose is cheap, but anything cheaper than that would be great, i'm not to bothered about brilliant picture quailty, as its only gonna be used for mp3's at the mo, maybe a linux distro.

    anybody anything on inverters ?

    Hi Mate

Ebay is good for inverters about 30 will get you a 300W one.

I also need a screen i cant belive the prices of them (expencive)

Alot of people use an OPUS thing that converts your cars 12V to the computers 12v, instead of an inverter ? There expencive mind but they have shut down controls etc.

Mail me if you find a good deal on you screen.

    Regards Andy.....
