Thread: best way to start out?

    where the hell can i get a LCD for sub $NZ500????
    the BEST i have come across are like $350, and thats the
    PAL type. i have got comp parts coming out from most of my
    orafices, but not lcds.......
    only other thing i need is an inverter, or psu, which is gunna set me back
    $150 alone.
    (btw-all these are nz prices.)

    Ebay would be your best bet. Do a search for liliput vga. You can get one to Oz for AU$370. Or try a PSone LCD. They cost bugger all and can be used as a VGA monitor.
    What system are you planing to run? Somthing like this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tem=3434714092 May be ok for your needs and costs about AU$80. (you might want to regulate the 12V in tho.) I saw a 300w inverter at Super Cheep Auto for AU$130.

    I think he was after a VGA screen.
