    Question USB 7'or 15'monitor

hey all...newbie question. I am starting to buy my equipment to begin my install and am contemplating a monitor. I have a Dodge truck with loads of room in the dash and would like to put a 15' monitor in the middle of it. I have also seen the usb 7' touchscreens talked about. But I sit so far back from the dash I wouldn't be able to touch the screen....
Are there any drawbacks to using a desktop monitor when compared to a smaller touchscreen?

Well, besides being a major space hog and begging to be stolen, no. What about a 10.4" or 12" monitor? (flatscreen, obviously) Also, I'm sure you know this, but make sure it has VGA (d-sub 15) in if it is going to be conencted to your computer, and make sure it can handle the resolution you want to send it.

Also, if its not a touchscreen, you'll need to install a mouse, trackball, or touchpad (like laptops have). Good luck!
