your p3 should be NO prob!
I'm planning on putting together my system and was wondering if a PIII 733mhz and this mobo would be powerful enough for smooth DVD playback.

BossTone74
It should work just fine
Thanks, sounds good enough for me.
The answer to the question of "Is it powerful enough?" is almost always YES.
Anything above about 700mhz seems to perform all In Car Entertainment functions just fine....2.4 gighz is just a digital small block chevy...ie WAY OVERKILL and inefficient. But still cool nonetheless.
MP3 MR2 (click here for details)
Hardware: EPIA M10000, 512Meg Ram, 5.6"TFT, Opus 150watt DC-DC PSU
Software: Windows 2000, Media Engine 2.0
I figured the processor would be good. I was more concerned with the onboard video of the mobo. But if it's working for other people, then hopefully....
