Well, I'm guessing you just wire it in serise with your inverter.. So it would be, Battery -> Controler -> Inverter and you would always leave the inverter on. Unless I am way off![]()
How does the controler turn the power on to a power inverter? mine is a coleman and it just has a red power switch, i have read the diagram and I under stand how it works for just the DC-DC power supply but not for the switch on the inverter which is what I need it to do.

I need it to push the power on the motherboard then after a X number of seconds I need it to kill power to the inverter so that it doesn't drain my battery and make noise.
I do not fully understand how the controller works.. Could somebody explain it please?
Maybe the controller does do what I need it to do
This is exactly what it does. Just wire the inverter's 12v positive INPUT directly to the shutdown controller's VOUT terminal.Originally Posted by owenjh

Thankyou - I was also wanting an option so that I wouldn't have to turn on the carputer every time so I could use the inverter switch for that - Thanks!
