Another thing I forgot, although it's pretty obvious. Make sure you get an FM modulator. There are also modulators that convert RCA composite into coaxial cable for dvd, playstation, etc. Most of them are 110volt with regular 2 prong power plugs so they'll stand out. You want an FM modulator (if you go that route) with either 1/8" (headphone) or RCA composite inputs.

Of course, then there's the method my bikeriding buddy wanted to do with his, which was to get a full out FM transmitter. He found one for like 300.00 that is used on some small islands. He wanted to be able to blast his tunes to everyone in a mile radius. I thought that was funny as hell, but it would be just my luck that I drive by some FCC official...

Yeah, the only real connection I made with the RF deal was with the old school RF connectors for consoles and those old television sets.

Sorry I'm not up to snuff with my electronics, I'm only 17

There are also two different things refered to im a similar manar. Those modulators that simply plug into the audio device via minijack and then "broadcast" wirelessly (ie the Irock from radioshack) are something that you'll want to stay away from. The true FM modulators splice into your antenna cable, and you turn the modulator on/off when ever you want to use it. The IRock does work decently in a pinch with a pocketpc when your, say, in a rental car with no tape/cd.
