Use whatever you like. If you want to use an ATX board, feel free to do so.
I went for a small motherboard so I could build a small system.

First sorry if this is a dumb thing to ask I have been reading for a week or so and see so many people using so many things for there carputer.
I would like to know why or why not use a home ATX motherboard?
is it better to use a mini if so why?
Cpu is bigger not better I know it will use more power and get hotter but what size is good to run in a car (in my case a SUV)
I'm am looking at getting this will it be ok:
