    Talking Me and my Laptop

Hey guys, i have been reading over the forum for quite a while now and have really been intrested in loads of the stuff you get up to, but just a bit of a question really, i've brought myself a PIII 750mhz IBM Laptop for under my seat and just wondering about my sound output.

First thngs first I have my standard 7" touchscreen for the laptop which is under the seat, 2 amps - 1 of which powers my standard front components and the other which powers my subs.

Im not 100% sure how all this works but as far as i have read - basically the output from my soundcard is sufficient to go straight into my amps? As i only have 1 output i have a standard splitter for my 2 standard (3.5mm Jack > RCA) cables which are running to my dash where i have 2x BC-10's (Vibes audio controls) which from there trail to the back of my car, from here they're plugging directly into the standard RCA connections on the amps.
Simply put : Speaker Output to RCA Connector (2m) > BC-10 > RCA to RCA (5m) > Amp

Does this sound right? or have i just confused all of you?

Thanks for reading this far if you have and thanks in advance for any replys guys

sounds right but i have no idea what you mean by BC-10's, also remember that laptop sound cards are pretty inferior in terms of sound quality

Hey - yeah thanks Nic, well the BC-10s are just basically RCA Throughput connections with a little knob on it for turning the volume up/down etc.
As for the sound card yeah i wasnt too sure tho if anyone else had tried a normal laptop as such to try the quality. considering i have already brought the cables and everything i need now what i'll do is test it all out once it all arrives & if its crap i'll bin it and get a Creative mp3+ which comes with RCA out as standard which is supposed to sound great!

I'll let ya'll know how it all goes but thx again.
