Question New Accord - want MP3 play

Hey. I just got a 2004 Accord Coupe LX (not enough money for an EX and too bad of a driving record for the 6 cylinder). I want to put in an MP3 player, but all the ones that I have looked at are in-dash, and that's kind of a hard thing to do with the set up of the radio and air-conditioning controls.

Any ideas or products I should look at?

Also, does anyone know if there are mp3 players out there that aren't cd format... ones that use those memory sticks or anything from computers?

    Thanks,

    Steven

If all you want it MP3 playback just get a normal MP3 CD player. Most people here do more than just MP3.

I think he was trying to avoid that route becasue of teh radio setups in teh new accords. Try getting an Ipod or something like that and just get an aux adapter for the accord radio

I started to write a post to say how easy it is... then I thought better and did a search on the new '04 accord. Is this what it looks like?! Holy cow, they really made it hard on you. My '02 accord is just a simple double din opening. I don't imagine there's any factory stereos that will fit in yours.

I wouldn't go so far as to say an iPod is the only way to go, though. If you got clever with your method of input to a computer, you could setup a carputer using one of the auxilary input interfaces that were refered to in the previous posts...

...and of course you could always rip out the whole dash and build up your own custom head-less mp3player. Look around the forums, there's tons of ideas to get!

Question mp3 car adapter for UBS memory sticks

mp3 car adapter for UBS memory sticks. I need the same thing for my Toyota and do not find the answer here yet for the Hondo.

I do not want to use my cd in dash player. I have lectures I want to hear that are on my sand disk UBS memory drives. Is there not a little mp3 player
that can link to my existing system that will play my school lectures?

    thank you.
