    Question DVD/CD Rom in front and case in rear

    Hello, I am In the process of planning out a car pc. I have a spot to install a dvd/cd rom drive but i need the case to be mounted in the trunk. Is this possible to do this??

    Would it be possible to modify a ide cable to make it reach?

    This topic has been discussed many times.



    Don't extend the IDE cable (you will have problems) buy an external HD enclosure and run firewire/USB through your car.
