    So would this work?

Would this work for a small computer system in a car, first time... What would it take to put an LCD touch screen in this thing? What size processor is that equvialent to?

Touch screen would be a plug (and install drivers) and play thing. No biggie.

Its a 600mhz, pay the extra $25 and go to the "M" board, way better!

As far as the machine, it will work well, same as what some of us are using. Uses laptop drives it sounds like, so a little more durable, but more money though. All around a nice setup.

I would set it up like this:

    Mini-ITX System with Morex 3677

    - Memory 256 MB RAM +$31.75
    - Motherboard EPIA M10000 Nehemiah +$25.00
    - CD / DVD Drive Slimline CD-RW / DVD Combo +$120.00
    - Hard Disk 2.5" 40 GB 5400rpm +$50.00

    Sub-Total: $596.75

the 5000 is related to the speed....500mhz (OK, 533, hehe), the 6000 is a 600mhz...and so on

I cant strongly recommend the "M" board enough....its worth the extra little bit now.

we would all like to know that!

Unfortunately we cant all get along, some like lillipits, some like Xenarc, ect.

I would say go to www.digitalww.com and buy one from Armen, he is a board member here and has excellent support if you have issues.
