    Laptop Power button

    Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody has any bright ideas on how to simulate a power button from a either a serial, parrallel, or usb port? I have a laptop docking station with no power button on it, so I have to open the laptop and hit the power button to make it wake up from standby. Any suggestions?

Can you set in the bios what resumes the system from standby. Like on my mobo I have the option to resume from usb. If you have that then use and USB device to resume power, I would think of a usb touchpad.
