    I am very new to this.

    I am thinking about setting up a CarPC. I was wonder can i use my old PC for it. It is only 800MHz, but it should be more then enough to run the MP3 and DVD movies and GPS at the same time right? PLease correct me if i am wrong. It has the video and sound bulit in on the MB. so the size is ok.

    Sure you can. Most people started out with old system they had laying around. Most people use Mini or SFF cause of space but there are no different then a normal PC.. For a cheap solution you can use an old PC with a power inverter. Get yourself a screen and you have your 1st CarPC..
