I don't have an Acura or one of the AVelectronic units, but I am very interested in getting one for my BMW with OEM navigation.
What what your experience with them as far as instructions, ease of installation and wiring requirements?
hi... i have a 2004 acura tsx...and i got the unit from avelectronic.com to be able to use my OEM navi screen for the tv and comp... but im having problems getting the video size to fit the entire navi screen....
its not the display settings for the video card (right click desktop, properties, display)
the video from the computer shows up on about 80% of the navi screen...with the very right side..part of the top and bottom cut off...
if i have a dvd player connected directly to the avelectronic tuner/video switcher it displays on the full screen...same with the live tv from the antennas
any ideas?
thanks

Nice, i have an '03 TL (non navi).....from what I've read here, a program called powerstrip will allow you to set your display to ANY resolution, so if u download that and try tweaking the numbers a bit, you should get a better image...Originally Posted by vp911

(P.S. welcome to the board, and you can find me on A-TL and AW with the same user name)
The Avelectronic unit is great - easy to setup (assuming you can run the power wire for it... the rest is all plug and play)Originally Posted by w_hatfield
It works wonders... quite amazing actually. Only drawback - the remote is the size of a credit card - easily dropped between the seats... haha but still is a great system.

powerstrip will let you tweak many things, but it will NOT let you set the resolution to anything that the native video driver doesnt already support.
