Is it possible to use Laptop LCD for VGA connection

Anyone know if it is possible to use laptop LCD for VGA output of your pc?
Say, I have old toshiba laptop screen that I would like to use off of my Epia board.

I think you would need a graphic card/video converter for LCD screen, but not sure...

    Thank you.

do a search for it on this forum. Very expensive, need a matching controller card to do it - looking at around 200-400 for a card like that.
