    If get rid of head unit, what about radio?

    I am building my carputer and ideally want to get rid of my head unit and build my screen into the dash. If i get rid of the head unit and plug the carputer directly into my amp's input can i have radio through the carputer??

    Yes, with the DLINK DRU-100 USB radio - about 7 quid plus postage in the UK (http://www.scan.co.uk) - Mediacar and many others support it also.

    It does work but you may need to modyfy it to get the car aerial into it. Have a search around for more info, it's been done many times.
