LCD in a Sub-box

I see most people mount their screens in fiberglas/bondo dash mod. I want to build a sub-box like enclosure. I'll tack on some fans to keep the system cool. Anyone see problems or think of anything i want to consider?

can you be more specific?

are there speakers going to be near the LCD? subwoofers? might want to be careful of vibration and magnets

Nope, i'm just going to build it like someone would a sub-box, and carpet it (maybe add a plexi window to show off the PC). LCD, Epia, Carnetix, and maybe a future xBox to mount.

Of course I've never built a sub box, bit it's along that line.

Well usually you use 1/4" MDF (medium desnity fiber board) but i wouldn't use that thick becasue your not using it with subs and becasue that stuff is heavy.

Just draw up some plans and make sure your measurements are correct and start buying supplies.
