Has anybody tried using this to mount a Screen?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I have run out of ideas on where to put my screen(7" lilliput). So i thought this might be modified to suit my purposes....also..depending on the space left in the split loom going up the arm, I might even be able to run wire down that.

You could use that, but i think It would be risky. A screen in the open is too tempting, and somebody will steal it.

well what I was thinking was putting a hole throu the platform part...and putting a thumb screw behind that to fit the mounting bracket and bolt that comes with the lilliput.

So I could just unscrew the screen and stow in the glovebox if the vehicle was in a place that required this.
