For an in-car pc, the EPIA M10000/M12000 boards are popular as hell. Personally, I'd use an Asus a7n8x-vm or a7n8x-vm/400, and pop a cheap athlon in it.

If you mean a micro atx (mATX) then you should get my motherboard.
It's an Abit and it's new.

If you want to use onboard video. I'd once again reccomend the Asus A7N8X-VM/400, because it has an integrated GeForce MX400.

Otherwise, pick any board with the "nForce2" chipset. No matter what, I'd say get a board thats nF2. If you pick a VIA board, you'll be sorry, and the nForce1 was underpowered.

Okay which one of these you guys recommended. They are all mATX nF2 board for Athlon with onboard Sound, Video, AC power loss restore. These board are all in the same price range (70~80)

    Albatron KM18G-Pro
    Chaintech 7NIF2
    Asus A7N8X-VM/400
    Epox EP-8RGM3I
    Aopen MK79G-N

I have a Soyo K7VME as a deal package with a AMD Athlon XP-M 25K that I am going ebay after I get one of the board above. There is nothing wrong with the Soyo. The feature I want/needed is NOT there (At least 3 COM ports, and AC power loss resume). I can get away with the AC thing but adding 2 more COM ports cost me another 50 bucks. So I just want to go with the 2 COM port onboard with better onboard video.
