My suggestions is to get a Morex/Travla mini-itx case with a 60W PSU inside it, and get yourself a Carnetix CNX-P1260

Otherwise, get yourself an Opus. Either are the best options on the market, I wouldn't get anything else from experience.

As for the screen, I personally prefer the Xenarc over the Lilliput, as I have seen/used both, and the Xenarc is much better in both image and build quality.

    Thanx for the fast reply!

Thanx for the Power Supply solution, i'll buy an Opus ps. But for the screen I have the Lilliput screen and I have a question concerning that. Can i plug the screen on the Red and Black wires from my old radio. Or I need to buy something.

I would (and have) hook up the screen to the 12v wires coming from the power supply, otherwise you will probably get electrical noise on the screen.

Maybe I'm lucky, but the Lilliput "egg" thing seems to regulate the power pretty well...?

I've used the "egg", and I have found that it introduced noise onto my screen (wavy lines going up and down it), but the moment I hooked it up to the output from the Opus, it was perfect, no flickering, lines or any brightness modulations at all

    However, your mileage may vary

Yeah that looks like a pretty basic install to me. Also I would not power the screen off the car's power directly without some sort of regulator. I tapped off my Opus.
    Mine needs to be updated.

    Power Question (Inverter)

Just for information, can you Power the Lilliput Monitor with an Inverter, like this setup:

You are not powering it from the inverter. You are sending unregulated power to it.

Get yourself either an Opus, or a Carnetix CNX-P1260 (if the case you're getting has a 60W DC-DC PSU in it already) and do it right

    You will thank us later
