all cars are the same... i wouldnt worry too much.. if your bf can install a stereo installinga computer isnt much diff.
I'm a newbie and a chick so be nice![]()
Has anyone done this to a Durango and if so what major problems did you encounter? I'm asking because my boyfriend is set on ripping my durango apart to do this and i'm not opposed to it, just want to know what to expect. I did use the search feature and looked at finished products and couldn't find any threads about the durango specifically.![]()
Thanks much

just took a look at the dash from a pic online, and the radio spot looks a little short, not quite double DIN; will definately require some kinda custom dashwork, depends on how comfortable he is with that...doesn't look like that much trouble, could easily do it with an in-dash touch screen from digitalww
Thanks for the responses everyone, i feel a bit better now.![]()

I've got a dakota (which is similar to the durango) and I am looking to put the computer in the armrest.
I know someone else on the forum has done something similar with the dakota.
As long as your bf is knowledgeable about stereo installs, amps, computers - all is good.
