Are you saying that due to the mass of the heatsink or a different reason?

The smaller or OEM intel heatsinks should not be an issue even the P4 ones. P3 and older boards it would not matter at all.

Nice Hearse you got there, I currently have a '69 Cadi Hearse.

We have alot of money invested in it, it has a Fog Machine, with Fog Cooler, Casket with pneumatic prop that sits up, Candy Apple Red paint, with Candy Apple Red matching casket on a trailer. Etc.
