Corps, you ever find out what inverter you wanted? The one from tiger direct would probably be just fine. It's a belkin, can't really go wrong with that. I have a cheap 140watt radioshack one, works fine. I'm getting ready to upgrade though, I'm gonna go with an ITPS and a 200watt snap in PS. It's gonna cost around $80 or so. Have you looked into any of these? This 200w one is supposed to be beefy enough to run my P4 and 3.5" 7200rpm HDD.

Well, I haven't done much research with the inverters, but, I think I'm just going to get something el cheapo and pray it works.

As for my PSU, it's a 250W Compaq (a pull), I think I'll be getting a 400W inverter, because I want to add some lights on the inside of the car, nothing too showy, just something easy on the eyes (that overhead white light hurts my ****in eyes when it's dark and I turn it on). Maybe like a red light set under the driver+passenger seats. That should make a nice little light.

Btw, I'm planning a diff case out of acrylic (if can find it for cheap), I'll let you know when I get some pictures of where I will be placing it.

A quick update, I don't think this project will start getting back underway till about January. To finish the project, I need about $300, however, I want to go all out and even get 2x 10" subs, and an amp. Anyone know any good Manufacturers? I won't be using the bass for the whole rattling trunk thing, just enough to make the music sound better. What would you suggest for amps and subs on a TIGHT budget? Thanks again.

I'd always recommend Petra subs and woofers. Although I have a bad feeling that they went out of business. I've got a 10" sub that I used to have in one of my previous camaros also built a custom box for it and it sounded VERY sweet.

Just a suggestion. If you can find them, You'll be happy. You'll also save a little too!

Radio shack used to sell car stereo equipment and was getting out of the business. Some of the stores still have stock on the older line of speakers... I picked up 40 10" subs that sound fantastic for $20 each. Ask around...
