Thread: 1992 Camaro RS Carputer

Oh yeah, I use an inverter. It works just fine. I've hard wired mine to my car, with a few relays and such. For the money, they're worth it. I just can't see myself payin' like $200 for an opus ya know? (damn P4's are power hungary.)

I don't dare freelance. I know if I didn't have someone barking orders at me I wouldn't seek work, you know? That's why I'd rather work for a store of some kind. However, as I said before, I live in Miami. If you don't speak spanish it's hard as hell to find a job. And guess what? I don't speak a word of it.

You program at all? What all you want to do with your carputer?

Nope, no programming, I knew a LITTLE bit of PHP for a while, but dropped that once I kind of got out of webdesign, but now that I'm back into it, I wish I hadn't stopped.

What I really want to do is come up with some kind of program that, with ease, can bring up any song I want whenever I want, and make it look good. Basically what all these other programs I have seen, but, with my little splash of design.

As I really don't know anything about these programs, I can just make a .html website and compile a list of all the files I have. I really don't feel like learning C++ or any other language just so I can make a simple carputer program.

Anyway, with that said, If I were to make a skin in photoshop right now, are there any pograms that will basicaly either code it for me, or modify it into a skin of an already available CarPC Program?

Edit: If I knew how to change the code for a Winamp skin, I'd make one right now.

I don't know man. I've never looked into skins. I've just programmed my own winamp front-end. I know there's a butt-load of info on winamp skins though. But someone around here is sure to have a skinnable app. I've read about 'em, I just don't remember.

I'm makin a little skin now, I'm going to see if anyone can program it to do aanything.

I used to have a 3ed gen Trans am... why dont you make use of that compartment in the back of the hatch to intall that large computer box you built?
