    power supply from desktop

I finally got my carputer setup a few months back. I am storing my mr2 for the winter and I want to be able to set up all the software in my house so that everything will be perfect when if reinstall it in the spring. My question is: Can I hook up the m10000 to my desktop's power supply? I know this is kind of a dumb question. I just don't want to mess anything up.` Thanks guys. Any details would be great.

As long as your desktop's power supply is an atx, yes.

I sometime do it, such as when I have to bring it inside the house for troubleshooting/upgrade.
