Good god! 15A fuse is way too big. The Lilliput draws somewhere between 0.5 and 1 amp.

nope, maximum the usb can put out is .5amps

15 amps at 12v is 180w if it drew this much power you couldnt connect it to your power supply now could you...

Yes, what NIC said. Look at the cigarette lighter adapter. It should have a fuse already in there. I would recommend a 1 A. or 1.5 A. fuse max. Same goes for the USB hub.

Why do you want to put seperate fuses on everything, why not just put one fuse close to the battery before the opus?

Basically to protect the Opus and/or anything else. If anything fries (shorts) after the Opus, it could take out the Opus as well. Not to mention protecting the device itself from further damage by letting it cook @ higher amperage. -zip- also mentions wire runs of 15 ft. Anything can happen to a wire in 15 ft. Automobiles have been known to burn up in flames due to electrical shorts.

Don't forget the "egg" īlinline with your Lilliput. The Xenarcs are voltage tolerant, but the Lilliputs seem to need the extra line protection.

I was hopeing not to use the "egg" it is very finacky. Is it possible just to run the wire since the Opus will regulate the 12V line?
