the lilliput's have vga and the rca video inputs
Ok heres the situation.... I want to put an 8" monitor in my dash and connect it to my ps2 so I could play dvds/games. What exactly do I buy??? I was told a VGA monitor is the best to buy, but how would I connect it to a ps2? and also I am on a tight budget so all the help right now would be great, thanks.

Yeah, then they proceed to explode.
Quick! To the Popemobile!
what do u mean by explode?
If you're not ever going to connect a computer to this screen, then you don't need VGA, only composite video. VGA screens are more expensive than composite screens, as they support a higher resolution. That should help you on your tight budget.Originally Posted by Integra92
I'm not going to tell you what to buy. There's lots of composite screens on the market from various vendors. Find one that meets your requirements and your budget and buy it.
Some guys on here have had problems with the Lilliputs. They don't boom-type explode, or even sizzle-type explode. They just stop working sometimes.Originally Posted by Integra92
I've had a Lilliput for a little over a year, and only had a few problems related to the installation.
If all your playing is video games, then all you need is a regular TFT monitor with only composite inputs.
