I am thinking of putting a LCD that I have into my car and it would fold up into the roof. Would the heat from the sun or anything else cause it to break/burst or anything like that? It is just a normal pc lcd.
Thanks

It wont break or burst, at around 45 - 50 celcius (113-122f) the lcd I use in a home built projector starts to lose contrast, and a black blob shows up at the hot spot. This has happened twice and both times it has been ok once cooled down.
Theres no way I reckon it will get this kind of heat from being mounted in a car though, should be fine.
