new, what do you guys think?

hey pretty new, and very interested in building my own carputer..
well this is what i have to work with, and what i've recently ordered.

Case ; Morex Cubid 3677 Mini ITX + 60w PS
Motherboard ; MITX-845GVD Mini ITX for Intel Socket 478
    Hardrive ; 40GB 2.5"
    Ram ; 256 DDR
    Screen ; 7" Lilliput TS

Not to worried about the wiring right now, just hoping, is that all the equipment i need apart from the wiring?

i will also need an Amplifier for connection of speakers am i correct?
will worry about Wi-Fi and GPS later on..

    any feedback for this? thanks

    Welcome to the forum.
    Input devices? Mouse? Keyboard?
If your radio HU has AUX in, you can run rca cables from the sound card to the HU.

Well you'll need a CPU & heatsink too, but i'm sure you've thought of that.

I wasn't able to find much information on your power supply, but you will probably need to regulate the 12V from your car's alternator/battery. If I were you I'd wait until someone else (who knows the case) responds, or just look on the data sheet when it comes.

Maybe. If your head unit has aux inputs, you can plug it right into those, if not you'll probably want to use an amp. There are plenty of threads that discuss how to hook it all together.
Old plans out the window because of an accident .

looks like you will want a carnetix to give a regulated 12v to the powersupply. or if you think you need more power you can take out the powersupply and use an opus.

The 60w power supply would probably power everything you have. The CarNetix simply give you a way to hook the power supply upto your battery, or any 14v source. It regulates the voltage, so you wont burn out your power supply. Not to mention it also works as a shutdown controller. You simply cannot hook the built in power supply into the battery, you will probably burn something up. Also, the CarNetix is pretty cheap.
