Put a shortcut to FrodoPlayer in your Startup menu.
This is basic Windows stuff.

Since you're flying blind due to the pooched screen resolution (assuming you're runnin WinXP):
Ctrl+ESC, C, D, D, ENTER, Ctrl+Shift+Tab, <-, <-, <-, Alt+A, Y
(<- is supposed to be a left arrow)
Also, for ******* up your screen resolution to the point you can't see anything, you deserve a nelson.

4. I just bought microsoft streets and trips gps. I'm wondering if I should keep this one or get the garmen gps?

It works, doesn't it? Why ditch it if it works?

5. Is there anything out there to make grounding easier or should I just find a clean piece of metal and screw into it. Or should I run a wire back to the - of the battery for the ground.

Clean metal is the better choice, always. The frame, if at all possible.

6. How do I set the screen to 848 x 480. I've read that's best I can get.

1. Get a video card that supports that resolution, like an nVidia chipset card.
2. Force that resolution using PowerStrip, or a similar program.

Why don't you try each setting and make that determination? Some people have had good results with both for different hardware setups.

That's purely subjective.
If you want a real answer, download the other front-ends and try them out to make your own judgement.

The easiest way is to put a shortcut on your StartUp directory... BUT you can also make it load faster by making it a shell so it loads first before explorer.exe More info here

70V... but what's the Amp rating? (you will see something like 30A, 60A, etc)

You're comparing apples and oranges here. The Garmin GPS is portable, expensive, and rigid... MS S&T is a software bundle+GPS mouse designed to use on laptops and carputers. Buy whatever fits your need. I have MS S&T and I love it.

DO NOT run GND wires back to your battery! (there is no point in doing so)
Assuming this "ground wire" is for your amplifier, make it as short as possible. 4 awg is good but 1/0 awg is preferred.

Right click on your desktop-->Properties-->Settings, Change the screen resolution here.

It's all personal preference. This is like asking "Who should I vote for-- Kerry or Bush"?
