    xbox in car problems

my question isnt to do with carputers as such but i think someone can help.
i want to put an xbox in my car running through a lilliput 8" screen.
i would like to run the rca leads straight to my amplifiers but i need a way to control the sound level without going to the boot every time i want to turn it up (or down). what ideas do you have?

i wouldnt mind knowing this too. Ive been told that there are different frequencies for the xbox and amp, line in and pre outs or something. Can you not just hook up the box to the amp??

    xbox

Hey fellas i was reading to the post and i came upon ya'lls. If you want to be able to control the volume of the xbox just get your self a pre- amp equalizer with a volume knob most of them have it. That way you plug the rca's from your xbox into the equalizer and then take the rca's coming out of the equalizers and run them to the amp. badah bing badah boom you got volume control and the equalizer will help boost the rca voltage output. you will have to play with the gain knob on the amp to get the sound you want but its really easy. Hope that helps. you can check out www.the12volt.com for any questions regarding audio they have more info when it comes to any thing car audio. Merry Xmas Happy New Year
