Thread: does this look right

Check the microphone cocnnection ? why is it being attached to your car's HU ?? Also Why the rear view camera on the 5" when you could have it on the 7" (I assume this is yourmain screen) unless its going to be running all the time.


Also the SUB connection from the PC... not sure what sound card you have but most PC's generally have 1 audio out... (you'll need to split this)

oh yah, one more thing... Make sure to install your GPS reciever after the touch screen... they are both USB but they actually have software that emulates a Serial port, and they conflict ports sometimes.. it can be a headache.

thanks for the head up.. I alread spiced with a rca y wire and the cam goes to the rear view mirror monitor.... I have the xm serial.. but no other hardware yet.. will that conflict too when I connect the XMDrect?

Look almost like as much junk as I have laying around here for my install... but the motor must come first, and I have no patience to do the diagram... thats all in my head. Nice to see another Vehicross on here with a plan to install a carputer! I'll chat with ya later!
