Hey all, been lurking here for quite some time, and I've learned a TON from eveyone on here, so I'm about ready to get started on my own project, just have a few questions first though.

Did a search and didn't really come up with much... I recently picked up a 12" Datalux LCD off ebay (I was hoping for a 10.4 but the $30 price tag was just too good to pass up ), and seeing as how the luminance is around 200 nits, I was just wondering if it's possible to replace the lamps or the inverter board to make this more daytime friendly. I've spoken to a few monitor repair shops that said it could probably be done, but wouldn't be worth the cost, but I just wanted to gather some more opinions on this, or see if this is even something I could tackle on my own. Any help I could get would be much appreciated.
