help help. how can i ground my stock deck and my carputer together. is this the right way/solution to go?
im using my stock head unit/deck... (honda accord 2003) which is grounded somewhere, i dont know where...
my carputer is also grounded. i only have one ground to my ITPS. so that should be fine.
i have a ground loop, and to fix this i should ground the stock deck and the carputer at the same spot. RIGHT????
how do i do this??

Your not going to get many answers at 3:00AM - 7:00AM.. Someone will help you out though..
I do had / have alternator noise. It first was when I just had my carputer and I ended up buying a ground loop isolator from Walmart ($12). That fixed it... Now that I've installed an amp it's back...

Try grounding your audio to the headunit chassis

No.Originally Posted by chicochu
Run a wire from the very base of your headphone jack. (I you look at a heaphone jack there are 3 seperate metal parts. The top two are left and right audio, the one at the base is the ground. Run this to the HU audio ground or to the HU Chassis.
If you can't work that, then get RCA's with ground wires on.
