Copy the fonts off another PC.
Hi,
I thought I'd post this here as it was suck a schoolboy (rookie) error!
The other day i was performing a disk cleanup using the windows tool, and once it was finished something called quick clean lite popped up (i think it was installed with some anti virus software) and deleted a load of temporary files and a few suposedly obselete registry entries. In doing so it also deleted the vast majority of my font files which makes using my computer a real hassle (see pic).
I think i disabled system restore, which is what i'd do if possible, so can anyone help?
Thanks a lot

Thanks,
Should be fun as identifying my windows fonts folder might be a challange!
The easiest way and fastest to go to the font folder is via control panel.Originally Posted by lummox
With the same OS as your "missing font" window OS.
- Go to control panel.
- Double click/open the FONT folder and copy its content to the other computer. When window asks you to overwrite, you may select yes since the font are the same or newer version.

It's typically C:\WINDOWS\FONTS\ or the equivalent. You might also do a search on *.TTF to locate it if it has been hidden away somehow.Originally Posted by lummox
