Is 1.1 USB ports ok for XM,GPS, Hauppauge

I want to buy a motherboard that only has 1.1 USB ports, and want to know if the things I have will work with it. Will the XMPCR work on a 1.1, or a GPS reciever, or the Hauppauge PVR USB. I checked, and none of them say they require 2.0, but is there a performance issue? Is there anyway to convert my 1.1s to 2.0. Is there is a type of hub for that, and what type of input does my computer need for those inputs.

I run Nogatech WinTV/FM, Delorme USB GPS, Logitech Xtreme 3D joystick, and XM Direct via USB into a belkin Hub on my Fujitsu 3500 tablet with no problems whatsoever. Keep in mind the USB is only getting used for the WinTV and XM when commands are being sent. The GPS and joystick are locked at 9600 baud with no conflicts and few collisions.

Go for it, but be apprised that the new USB hubs require power. I found 1.1 non-powered hubs at my local mom and pop computer store. I will be testing powered hubs this spring when I begin adding 4 more USB devices.

Are you using a hub that is connected to a 1.1 USB? What type of hub are the USB's, 1s or 2s. I have a computer with 4 1.1s, and was wondering if those would work. I think I understand you right, but want to make sure.
