Hello... Intro thread

Hey everyone,
I just got into this carputer hobbie and so far I like it.

It does exactly what I wanted to do.. GPS, movies, mp3...etc I have recently purchased a system off my friend. It is nothing special but here is the spec:

5.6" LCD activematrix screen
VIA C3 mainboard with 1GHz CPU
Streets and Trips 2005
GPS
20 GB miniture laptop HD
512 MB DDR

I've been interested in cars since i was a little kid and now I own a 2001 Toyota Celica GT-S. For the past 3 years, I've been modifying it. Just this past weekend I installed the computer system in my car. So far, I love it. My knowledge in computer is very little. However, I do know my way around software and networking basic. But I have no idea on how to built one

I hope I will learn more about this hobbie through this website.
