It is under the dash close to the door it is a large black piece of rubber with a big batch of tapped up wires going thru it.
If you have a automatic there is one beind the pedals under carpet you can use.
I'm a little unsure as to where the best place is to pull the wire through the firewall. I read through the thread, but I don't see anywhere specific mentioned. Anyone care to provide detailed info on where this factory grommet is located?
Thanks.

I've made some modifications to my door hinges that should allow it to function normally with the screen in place as shown below. However, the modifications are wide enough that, once I put it in, I'll never get it back out. Unless I can remove the panel immediately to the left of the screen. (See image below, I want to remove the one circled in red.)
Does anyone know how to remove this panel? I've fumbled around with it and can't seem to find anything more than a few screws which don't seem to loosen it much. If anyone has any idea, or even better if there are instructions on how to do it somewhere that would be awesome.
Thanks!
Where does that come out on the inside? I found a bunch of wires going through the middle of the firewall to the right of where the radio is, but i can't figure out where it comes through on the inside.
stick something in it, and look for it on the inside....at least that is what I did

Thanks for the help, guys. I was able to find the one by the door and use that.
I'm on to start working on the screen installation. I'm trying to do the same thing that was done here: Carputer Installs . I have it cut out and the front bezel fits in there nicely, but I can't figure out how he got the cover on there. The sides of the cover (the round parts that attach to the sides of the compartment) cover the holes that he cut to put the bezel in. The only way I can think of how he got around it was to cut off the sides of the screen bezel, leaving only the top and bottom to bondo into the compartment.
Anyone done this?
EDIT: Tensai, it looks like you've done what I'm looking to do. Could you provide details on how you got the screen in there and still have the door operating properly? Thanks.
I haven't exactly finished it all yet. But my end goal is the same as yours. What I originally planned to do, and still haven't given up on. Is modifying the hinges. When I reinstall a few things here next weekend I"ll try to snap a few pics to help explain. But here it goes...
Before cutting space into the box for the screen, I cut out the parts on either side that the door mounts to. That is, I cut a large square out of each side so that all of the mounting holes / clips / etc were still intact with each other. Once the screen was installed and fastened in place where I wanted it I used plexi-glass to re-mount the squares with the mounting assemblies to the box so that they sat on either side of the screen. Basically, the plex-glass is just a spacer between the mounting squares and the original box sides. This way I didn't have to modify the screen casing at all.
My next move was to cut the door hinges just above the circular parts. I then used more plexi-glass pieces as spacers to move the round parts out and make them wide enough to fit on the widened box.
Once I got them all set, the door re-attached to the box and everything worked swell. However, I quickly found that the modified box/door combo was too wide to fit back into its original spot. Or rather, I could get it to fit, but once in I'd never be able to get it back out again.
That may be acceptable for some, but I would like to be able to get this car back to stock if need be.
So I'm trying to figure out how to take the gray panel shown in the picture above off. That will allow me to slide the box/door combo in and hopefully figure out a way to be able to remove them as well.
If you come up with any ideas of your own I'm always looking for someone smarter than me to give me answers.
I actually just finished my setup tonight. I was able to get everything in there and working without having to increase the width of the compartment. I would take pictures, but my camera just died on me. I might take some with my cell phone later this week to show how I did it.
